About this deal

We recommend anyone in Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Shetlands, Scottish Highlands/off the coast of Scotland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands use Priority Delivery unless you require an urgent timed delivery through UPS courier which is at an additional cost. Please see below for postage prices. Also, using a syrup allows you to decide how strong or weak (and as a result, how bitter) your tonic tastes.

Tip: I don’t know if there’s any truth to this, but rolling the citrus on the counter before cutting into it is supposed to yield more juice. Use plenty of quality ice In fact, I hated Gin and Tonics as a twenty-something until I was finally introduced to the high end tonic waters from Fever-Tree and Q Mixers. Lime is classic, and lemon is really nice paired with Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic. Try a squeeze of grapefruit juice with Empress 1908 Gin or the herbal Gin Mare. The Adult Gin & Tonic 2 in 1 Costume features the main man that brings you so much joy, Mr Gin. The costume consists of an all-in-one green tunic that resembles the famous gin brand. It also features the words, ‘Thanked-way imported’ ‘LONDON GIN’ on the front, plus a comical white bottle cap for the hat. To weaken down your beverage, you’ll need the help of tonic water. This second costume consists of a white and yellow tunic featuring the words, ‘PREMIUM’ ‘Tonic Water’ on the front, with a cute little lime headband to finish off the look. There are plenty of opinions about what makes the gin and tonic perfect, but I think everyone will agree that you need to begin with a quality gin and a quality tonic water (or tonic syrup).Try adding a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of mandarin orange to citrusy gins to accentuate the bright, fresh flavors. Fabric requirements: 144 cm (55″) wide fabric: 2.4 m (2.6 yd) OR 1.2 m (1.3 yd) of each colour if you are using contrast colours // 112 cm (44″) wide fabric: 3 m (3.3 yd) OR 1.5 m (1.6 yd) of each colour if you are using contrast colours.

The final component to your perfect Gin and Tonic is the garnish. A simple lime wedge or lemon wheel will do, but consider adding herbs, fruit, or spices to accent your gin of choice. A tall and narrow highball glass will preserve more of the carbonation, keeping your drink more effervescent for longer. Try a couple of different glasses with your favorite gin and see which works best for you. Garnish thoughtfully You’ll only know what Tonics you love through trial and error. Some Fever Tree tonics I have LOVED, but when paired with a particular flavour, they clash. So what do I carry at home? I keep it simple, with a classic Indian Premium Tonic. I’ll maybe have one more flavour like the elderflower tonic from Fever Tree, but I typically avoid the Lemons or Lime infused tonics since most of the time, I’m mixing with that particular citrus and would rather have the real citrus vs artificial flavours! Why Crushed Ice? Although the soda aisle in the local grocery store has plenty of tonic water made by big soda companies, these tend to be overly sweet, have an artificial taste, or a combination of the two. This adds a really nice herbal hit to a plain boring g&t and gives you something to stir it with too! Don’t use too much, or scrunch up the rosemary too much though. It can end up tasting all soapy and weird. Lime and chilli For a classic take on the Gin and Tonic, choose a London dry gin. I recommend Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire, Beefeater, or Sipsmith. Before we dive into the recipe, I’m going to breakdown some of the choices I made with this refreshing Cucumber Thyme G+T: Choosing my Gin Taking a tip from good old Pimms a few strawberries and a sprig of mint add a sweetness and zip to a normal gin and tonic and make it look super pretty too! A sprig of rosemary
