About this deal

My other review got deleted for some reason; maybe I'll stop cursing, but I still have many a bone to pick with this fragrance. i do like this scent, I don't see it as bad but it is sometimes very overpowering and makes my head ache. My mom bought this twice or thrice, and it made my head hurt like crazy, it would stink the whole room, straight up baby powder. The fragrance encompasses a mixture of notes to embody the poppy aroma and is a lively, fresh perfume for daytime wear. It is very recognizable and if it were discontinued it would be like one of the many basic shades of perfume would be missing from the palette.

Initially I was not liking it because it was so strong, but as the day went on, I felt like I still smelled fresh out of a shower. Almost 10 years ago I received a small 30 ml bottle from my aunt, unfortunately back then it didn’t appeal to me, however I started wearing it as I realised that it was a good choice for the harsh winter.New floral notes keep surfacing and disappearing, as if the bouquet were being rearranged to show off shyer flowers that had been hidden before. I told myself that the design reminds me of Beauty and the Beast and I didn't expect how relevant that would actually be because of how much loneliness this scent evokes (fitting of Belle's captivity). The top notes open with a bright, juicy wave of blackcurrant and mandarin orange, while a delicate hint of Bulgarian rose adds a luxurious depth. on one hand I really love the powdery notes but on the other hand it makes me a little bit sick to my stomach. I live in Australia and I recently bought a 100ml bottle in Chemist Warehouse, only to find that my decade long signature perfume does not smell the way it used to.

I can see this is really polarizing by the reviews so let me see if I can convey my impression of it. EDIT: Maybe it's because I'm now testing Flower in cold weather, but I've been enjoying it much more lately than I originally did. And this fragrance also struggles to last an hour on the skin, whereas before a couple sprays would last me all day. Finally, the incense imparts a touch of mystique, resonating with spirituality and serenity, bringing the entire perfume journey full circle.

It wouldn't surprise me if such a subtle reference was made by the Japanese, who suffered the most in World War II. Creating a breezy and revitalising experience, this is a timeless fragrance - a great addition to the collection of any discerning gentleman. I'd recommend this perfume for the spring and thw fall and for during the day, but not during other times of the year.I don't find the scent incredibly creamy at all, but of course I don't contradict the compliment givers. An unusual riff on a powdery floral that features violet prominently, Flower is a pretty decent, creative floral scent, ideal for transeasonal daytime wear. What’s odd is that I love powdery fragrances and I love all of the notes listed, however this has to be my most despised fragrance of all time. Presented in a chic and understated bottle, Flower by Kenzo isn’t just a fragrance; it’s a symbol and signature of the Kenzo brand. i don't normally go for *mainly* floral scents as i'm more of a gourmand person, but i like how this dries down and smells a bit like sugar and vanilla.

not really sweet enough for me to consider wearing regularly, but it's clean and sophisticated, and i like the powdery notes. After a few minutes the powder softens into more of a face powder/lipstick scent with vanilla and incense in the background; the rose and violet are still very present and in your face.It is great for daytime during Spring, Autumn and Winter; Summer perhaps, if it's not too hot, up to 25°C max , otherwise it could be cloying. Bulgarian rose/ violet/ black currant (which are notes in ysl Parisienne) kind of give a natural bubble gum smell. I hated it even more because she also made me wear it sometimes because I had no perfume of my own, and I would have that smell that made my head hurt for hours.
