Completed the route a couple of years ago and the photos / information provided just means we will have to do it all again. I have been to Sutherland and and stayed at Kylesku 3 times and explored some of the surrounding areas but want to explore more I thought there guide would be of great help and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

We would have been very happy the have had your book with us because then we would have been able to see even more and more fantastic spots of this wonderful part of UK/Scotland. It is extremely well presented and laid out giving all the essential information one would need with additional campervan information such as waste and fresh water locations. A refreshing approach to touring much like our own where they go off an explore beaches and places encountered along the NC 500. It has been presented in such a way that every body, be their preferred accommodation, hotel, caravan/motorhome or tent can get useful information to help their transition around the NC500.Destination NC500 is a guide that reflects the passion and dedication to the exploration of the Scottish Highlands that Gemma and Campbell hold so dear. I followed along the YouTube series and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy, and it did not disappoint. In the summer of 2016 I visited the western part of the NC500 together with my son for two weeks, my wife joined us for another week (from Inverness to Glen Affric, Durness, Old Man of Stoer, Ullapool, Isle of Skye, Fort William, Glencoe, Loch Awe an then back home). Perhaps it is time for us to once again pick up our cameras when we venture on our trip, as you inspire.

Would highly recommend not only to people thinking about going, but also those that live Scotland and want to know more about what there is to do there.By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. I’ve been watching your travels on YouTube for a while and have bought Destination NC500 as a Birthday present for a friend who’s just bought her first van. As a keen explorer of Scotland already, canoeing and wild camping while there, my husband and I were keen to celebrate our 25th wedding Anniversary this year by doing the North coast 500. Thank you for making such a good book and we highly recommend your YouTube channel, everyone go subscribe now! While planning a motorhome tour including the NC500, its great to have a guide written by people who have done exactly that. This updated edition takes you on an unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes, historic landmarks, and hidden gems that make up this iconic Scottish route. I can see we will be having quite the adventure thanks to all the information provided in this book. Superb photography which I appreciate as it is a hobby of mine and one reason I bought your book as well as having lists of various aspects of a trip my hubby Simon and myself hope to make later this year or next once I have retired. Having cycled part of it when I was a member of the Fairport Wheelers (Arbroath,) I stayed in the youth hostel in Achmelvich, it’s still there now however it’s not 2s/6d per night!
