About this deal

I get decent performance out of it, it lasts most of a work day and projects out well enough for most of that time, so I can't complain about that. Best for colder weather (January through March in the northern hemisphere), this is a Creed killer, although we'll wait and see what happens now that Creed has changed hands again.

I wore and went out and received unsolicited compliments from 6 people and still after 5 hours of wear. This is my first purchase from the house of Armaf and I think they did a nice job in making a nice affordable fragrance. But the durability was subterranean, after 3 hours only very faintly perceptible, after 4 hours completely gone.

Apart from a flash of mildly astringent citrus in the opening, Sillage settles immediately down into a lightly floral musk plus creamy ambroxian and doesn't really change.I think the heat and humidity of summer just makes it too cloying IMO but you could probably get away with using one spray in a temp controlled environment or possibly cooler evening. I'm not sure what I do not like about it, but perhaps it's that lingering metallic note or ozone smell that persists on my skin, that I really dislike. There are, however, few exceptions which are very good: Armaf CDN Sillage is such exception, alongside Lattafa Oud for Glory. If you’re looking to get a lot of compliments then this is a no brainer because it actually smells good.

Compliment getter for sure, Armaf does a very good job with keeping Creed's original identity alive, in their own way of course. If you dislike the jasmine note just as I do but you want to feel clean, look after fragrances with Neroli. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . I also get a grassy smell along with the flowers, citruses and musk, but I can't understand where it's coming from. After 10 mins or so it transitions into something flowery, which I can't pinpoint exactly- it definetely isn't pure rose, jasmine or iris( some of notes that I enjoy).Sillage dries down to a slightly woody analog of all that came before, and yes, it's pretty linear, but so is its template. This is prob the closets you’ll get to Creed’s SMW fragrance as far as longevity and performance goes out there on the market IMO.
